The peculiar geographic location allows many hiking paths in the vicinity: we describe them in detail in the individual pages listed alongside.

First, for those who love shopping, close to the Bed and Breakfast La Casetta there is the famous Outlet of Serravalle Scrivia, a destination for visitors from all over Italy and abroad. In front of the Outlet of Serravalle there is the large shopping center Retail Park, which offers many opportunities for all kinds of purchases.

Many are also the destinations for those who prefer to take a holiday searching for good food and wine, as Stazzano is close to areas rich in vineyards (Gavi, which produces the Cortese di Gavi, famous all over the world, is only a few kilometers away; Silvano d'Orba, well known for the production of artisanal grappa of excellent quality, is a little further; Ovada, famous for its Dolcetto DOC, is just as close). But the whole area is also famous for the richness and goodness of its typical cuisine; in fact there are many wine and food festivals that, especially in the summer, attract fans and connoisseurs.

The hills surrounding Stazzano represent the ideal environment for people loving sports among nature: cycling, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, golf, but also relaxing walks along the trails through woods and vineyards are some of the main activities you can practice. Particularly active is the local Bocciofila, that organizes, not only within the province but also at the national level, races and championships of high technical standard.

Stazzano is a small country, but it is the site of an active Natural History Museum, in contact with the whole world and goal for visitors and students interested in the flora and fauna of the place, as well as in the geological history of the area. Also from the archaeological point of view, the area is particularly interesting: suffice to say that very little away there is the Libarna site with the ruins of an ancient Roman oppidum of the third century BC, including the nice amphitheater.

There are also many monuments with artistic and architectural value: in the municipality of Stazzano stands, on a hill-top overlooking the valleys below, the Sanctuary of Montespineto, visited by pilgrims from all the nearby villages, an ideal place to fortify also the spirit. A few kilometers away there is the Sanctuary of NS della Guardia in Tortona, famous for the golden statue of the Virgin visible from far away, that hosts the tomb of St. Luigi Orione, saint particularly revered in his homeland.
